As a great-grandfather was saved from death
My great-grandfather fought in the First World War. And he was telling that when it was necessary to shoot at people, he was shooting either overhead or underfoot. Maybe that’s why he was saved from dying in that war. He said he had been miraculously saved from death one night. That night their band or a group of soldiers slept on the battlefield, and he heard the words, “Get up and get out of here.” He woke up, looked around. Well, no one have shouted at him. Thought he had dreamed, and continued to sleep. After a while he hear again, “Get up and get out of here.” He woke up again, looked around and went to sleep again without seeing anything around him. After a while the same voice wakes up again, only this time angrily: “get up and run from here, why don’t you listen.” The great-grandfather finally decided to listen, and after getting up from his sleep his friend, he started running away from that place. When they didn’t even run far, an artillery projectile flew to the place where they slept and killed everyone who slept there, but my great-grandfather and his friend survived.
