God withholds hail in the field outside the house in 2019
It was already June – July, because I know the grain were close to ripeness, but still green, not yellow. I was working on something in the garage and it started to rain and then the hail poured out right away. And with hail, you never know when big pieces of ice will start to fall from the sky. It has been the case for us that chicken egg-sized chunks have begun to fall and all the fields have been squashed and only 1/3 of the normal yield left. Fearing this, I began to pray hastily: “God, You grew grew our grain, do You really want to squash them? I know we are sinful, but you are merciful and have compassion on us. Bind the spirit of hail, or any spirit that reigns hail and rain, and let the hail stop and all the clouds pour out in the still rain, I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.” And after the last words of my prayer was said, I hear in my ears how hail hurts into the paving tiles and at the same time, suddenly falls silent and begins to rain calm, light rain. I was amazed at the effect of this prayer, I thought: “what I have just did, what God have just did after hearing my prayers? Wow, wow, wow ”. I was stunned by such a spectacle. So in seconds precision, God acted on my request. I couldn’t get calm for long. I don’t know why, but was overwhelmed by some fear, wanted to disappear somewhere, but where you can hide from God? No there. I was afraid of my own words for what they could, what God has just done in front of my eyes. I was amazed with His might. Somehow I felt uncomfortable. I felt unworthy to experience such things. But our God is good, merciful, and loving. He protects us from damage coming, if we ask. We withstand the “flood” if we stood firmly on the rock, Jesus. Thanks only to Him alone. Glory be to Heavenly Father, Son Jesus and Holy Ghost. Amen.
