How a complete stranger lent money to my grandmother, from my mother’s side

When the government was doing new rain drainage on the fields, and people were told to move from single-bedded settlements to single-family homes, and the old house was overturned, my grandmother and two other sisters did not want to move up somewhere because three girls couldn’t build houses with all the barns, so they had to buy back land, whether it was huts and grandmother had to pay 5000 LTL for it. When a good cow at that time costed 300 LTL and a horse 500 LTL. It was enormously big money for farm on 8-9 hectares. When Grandma went to church, she says, “I prayed so hot, I prayed so hot that God would help solve this dilemma,” because she didn’t have such money. She left the church after the mass like stupefied. And she said, “I go where my eyes lead, and I come to some kind of yard that is unfamiliar.” And she said to the female hostess, “I don’t know what I came here for, but I’m in such trouble.” And to my grandmother’s surprise, the woman had those 5,000 LTL and agreed to lend them. Because in the past, people trusted each other more because they were more honest. Grandma repaid that debt in 9 years.
