I asked for 1000, and I got 4000
How God answered my prayer and gave me money for repairing my car.
Somewhere in 2017 in the spring I noticed that there are problems with the car’s engine because it is “eating” oil. I went to the master, he says, the trouble of these engines is here, the oil rings are wore out and so on. Repairs are about 1000 – 1200 euro, or buy another engine, it will cost about 1000, but do not know what you will buy. I came back with such a bad thoughts, because there were no finances, we had just started renovating just recently bought house and all the money was going for the renovation. The thought came to ask God for help. Somehow I prayed, “God you know our financial situation, that we are repairing the house now and all the finances are going to it, the farm didn’t gave anything last year, please solve this problem with the car, give the money to repair it, I pray in Jesus’ name.” And some how, I forgot about that prayer. It was some there in March 2017. And while I was driving a car in July, the engine nozzle fired during overtaking another car, when I pressed harder. When the nozzle fired, the fuel return hose broke and fuel began to flow on the muffler and ignited from it. I saw the traction disappeared, I just finished overtaking the car, and the smoke started to come out from under the hood. After about 500 m. I stopped at the side way, and when I opened the bonnet I saw that an already open flame was burning behind the engine. I quickly picked up the fire extinguisher and started extinguishing it. I used a fire extinguisher that day for the first time in my life, but my mind acted exactly like a clock, there was no panic, just some slight tremors, apparently some stress. With the fire extinguisher spray for 2-3 seconds, the fire goes out, then waiting, then again flames flashes, spray again for 2-3 seconds. So maybe 3-4 times the fire extinguisher was enough, then someone else stopped with a barely live fire extinguisher from which it was barely running, some liquid with a small stream. When the smoke from the engine didn’t stop, I started stopping the cars. The trunk is open, the hood is raised, the smoke is smoking and I am stopping. Someone stopped, pouring compote on the engine. Thanks to everyone who stopped. The fire was finally extinguished. I called the firefighter and they said if the car stopped smoking, we won’t drive anymore. We pulled out the car, called out insurance experts, because the car was covered by casco insurance. He came in, took a picture, didn’t even touch the engine with his finger, didn’t check the level of that burn, whether the hoses were flushed or just sprayed from the fire extinguisher and looked awful, and looked really awful. But the worst was just that the sound insulation of the engine burned, and one or two braids of finger-thick wires burned. All cooling hoses and other hoses lined with asbestos remained intact. Maybe a month later, the insurance contacted me and they didn’t wanted to pay at first, because the fire counts only from the car accident, but when, I said that then, I switch to another insurance with all my equipment, the same would happen to my brother and friend. Maybe they looked at how much money I paid for 7 year of insurance, how much my brother, they started talking differently. I was asked if I have called the firefighters. If I would be not called, I would have got only half the amount. They looked at the phone operator and as I had called the firefighters, I was calm, I told them the exact time I called and they found everything. They said the car is not repairable, giving me 75% of the car’s market value to just under 4,000 euros without a few dozen euros. A week later, the insurance benefit was confirmed and paid quickly. And we fixed that car (the effects of the fire) for 100 euros. Sound upholstery and engine covers costed so much. For two more days my brother braided the wires where were burned. Because of the difficult situation on the farm with the money, that money had to be poured into the farm and the oils of the car remained untidy. I am still driving that car to this day and I think it will serve on my farm until it completely collapses. Although it often spoils, and has all sorts of troubles, it tells me about my prayer to God, and somehow I do not want to write it off. I don’t want to get attached to things, but it’s precious for me. Thank you, God, for listening to me and responding to my need. All thanks and praise to You, Father, Son and Holy Spirit for ages amen.
